In May 2018 we started working with Facing Addiction to create more connected resources for our home county, Baltimore County, Maryland. It led to a lot of research that culminated in us connecting with
Linda Bryan, Naseem Teymourian, and Rob Deveraux. Not only did we become friends - together we created the Baltimore County ROSC ... because after all, "Together We Can."
I'm often asked "how did you get started understanding the Recovery Oriented Systems of Care (ROSC) program for Maryland". This report was the Axiom Team's first foray into understanding exactly what a ROSC was and how our state envisioned them working.
"In November 2007, the Director of ADAA, Dr. Peter F. Luongo, appointed a workgroup comprised of county coordinators, addiction treatment providers, members of the recovery community, a recovery advocacy organization, and ADAA staff to create an implementation plan that would guide ADAA in developing a Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) in Maryland."
This is that report...
